For over forty years Bram Taylor has sung, played and entertained at Folk Venues and Festivals around Great Britain and further afield. Starting in his local Folk Club, Bram spread his wings around Great Britain, then onto Europe, U.S.A and Canada.
A rich repertoire of classic traditional and well-chosen contemporary material, backed by a humorous, lively patter, has made Bram a firm favourite with tours from Cornwall to Scotland, and two appearances at the Mariposa Festival in Canada where he supported Gordon Lightfoot, Buffy St Marie, Don McLean and The Proclaimers.
Bram is Fellside Recordings’ longest serving artist notching up ten albums and numerous compilations, yet maintains his youthful enthusiasm whether cracking a joke or playing guitar, concertina or baritone ukulele.If you enjoy a strong, clear tune, good folk music and lively dialogue, then lend an ear. And if you want a song from his native Lancashire, he’ll oblige.
At this year’s fundraiser concert, Bram is looking forward to having the opportunity of joining forces as a trio with the extremely talented and versatile Elly Beurskens and Bruno van Hoek, at what promises to be a great, fundraising event.
